EPIC is an inspiring place to discover and learn more about the green vendors available to help you live your life green! ecocessories' sterling silver & recycled bead jewelry designs will be for sale and I will be accepting your old, broken, unwanted jewelry for recycling at the show. ecocessories™ is thrilled to be participating in Toronto’s Green Living Show in April 2010. The Green Living Show is Toronto’s largest green consumer show dedicated to educating the public about easy and workable solutions for leading a sustainable lifestyle. Visitors can shop the wide variety of exhibitor booths while gathering information and inspiration from a diverse selection of demonstrations, presentations, and activities.

Hosted in the Direct Energy Centre at the Exhibition Place, be sure to stop by Booth #122 in the Eco Fashion section to recycle jewelry and shop for my sterling silver & recycled bead designs!

ecocessories is returning to the Portobello West market for two days in November! On Saturday & Sunday November 28/29th over 100 local designers will be filling the Rocky Mountaineer Station once again to show you the best, most sustainable & unique products for this holiday season.

Giving a gift means so much more when you can tell the story of who made it, where it came from, and who it impacted along the way. I was so happy hearing customers comment at the October market how they were shopping at Portobello West because of the wide variety of handmade and eco-friendly goods.

I’m excited to be returning to Portobello West again in October, after taking a break from the market for September while I focused on getting in a few local stores. The market has a whole new set of designers from the summer vendors (with some awesome vendors returning too, like ecocessories) and it’s time to start thinking about holiday gifts.

ecocessories is returning with a bigger and better display – I will be filling an entire booth with my designs. I want to really give my customers a variety of designs to choose from and this will give me the best space to do it!

I’m getting really excited to participate in the Portobello West fashion & art market for the third time this August. There is something about being part of this market that simply energizes me. I love seeing all the creative ideas of the vendors and finding inspiration around every corner on market day.

There is a wider variety of vendors than I ever realized before too – I chatted up some other vendors while researching a recent blog post about the eco-friendly designers that stood out to me. This upcoming Portobello West on Sunday August 30, 2009 I am looking forward to finding vintage fashion, yummy gourmet Fragrant Chili sauce, , cards & stationary that care about the environment, adorable baby and toddler bandanas (tested and approved by my 4 month old cousin Kase!), sustainable & socially responsible women's apparel, and of course, eco-friendly sterling silver jewelry from me! Come shop for my new Fall 2009 designs being debuted at Portobello West.

On Sunday, July 26, 2009 ecocessories will be set up at the Rocky Mountaineer Station for the famous Portobello West Fashion & Art Market! After a month touring around Ontario, I will be happy to return to my home base in Vancouver. The creative juices have been flowing this trip and I have tons of new earrings, bracelets, and necklace designs that are market exclusive pieces. These designs are all one-of-a-kind and not available in my online store!

The Festival of Lights is a free concert series now entering its 23rd season of entertainment in beautiful Del Crary Park in downtown Peterborough, Ontario. Artisans congregate to offer their wares to the concert goers interested in experiencing some local shopping before or during the musical acts.

ecocessories will have a table on Saturday, July 18th selling one-of-a-kind jewelry designs. Shop for unique eco fashion before enjoying a favourite Canadian band, 54-40.

Find your style at the Portobello West market, the last Sunday of the month. Meet over 110 local artists and designers and shop for one-of-a-kind fashion and art in one of Vancouver’s most impressive indoor venues.

ecocessories will have a table and I’ll be selling my one-of-a-kind designs, made using sterling silver & recycled beads. I’ll also be spreading the word about my jewelry recycling service, and if you bring me recycled jewelry you get a 15% off coupon to be used in person, or on the site!

Created in 2006 and inspired by the famous artisan markets of Europe, Portobello West brings together Vancouver’s talented artists and designers in an eclectic and often surprising mix 10 months of the year. Come down and meet the designers, hear their stories and take home truly original garments, inventive and inspired accessories, unique and sublime jewelry or works of art that speak to you and who you are.

For one day, Vancouver’s Denman St. will be car free. Local vendors will have tables set up in the streets, including ecocessories! The hugely popular spoken word tent from last year will be back, as well as dance classes, world music, community tables, parades and more… all with that cosmopolitan West End style.

The ecocessories table is located at the corner of Pendrell & Denman, 1 block north of Davie. Come visit me at the market from 12 – 6pm.
